There is nothing better than reading a well written and educating novel. The most incredible realisation is that there is a novel out there in the world that suits everyone’s wants and desires. If you like fantasy with sci-fi elements, you have many novels to choose from. You like dystopian universes with a strong female protagonist, you’re sorted!
We live in an age of connectedness but none of us is really “connected”.
Social media has brought us closer together, letting us communicate with those we normally would not be able to speak with. Through bringing together the globe, we are able to find our niche and communicate with those who share our similar interests.
However, why do we find ourselves seeking for validation off others?
On the 5/3/18 I have decided to start hosting producers beats on my site that are voted in, for readers to listen and vibe to. This action was suggested by a friend of mine, Matt, and I believe it is a great suggestion. Producers can be under promoted at times and not referenced at times, especially if a big name artist gets hold of the beat. By hosting a few select beats on my site a week (with no repeat), it gives producers a chance to get the recognition they deserve but dont often get.
KLH Writing is and has always been a platform to connect ideas to their creation. It focuses on the media sphere and comments on those belonging in the public eye due to their art and/or talent. It has been my complete privilege to interview and write articles about those who I believe have tremendous talent and deserve to have their story written for thousands to see.
The music industry is rapidly changing, with various styles coming in and out of popularity at all times. However, in this article, we shall be speaking in particular about what I have noted in the Underground hip-hop scene, via social media and direct inspection, and my thoughts on the topic. As an outsider of the industry, I perhaps can give some insight on why various techniques work and why others can falter. This is by no means insinuating that I am knowledgeable about the industry for I am far from stating that and/or believing such a stance. I am merely observing and detailing my thoughts.
